Welcome to Rouse Hill Public School. Our wonderful school was established in 1875 and moved to our new site in 2003. Rouse Hill Public School is located in North West Sydney. We currently have 28 mainstream classes and 3 support classes that are integral to our school.
We have a strong Mandarin focus where every mainstream class is learning Mandarin for almost 2 hours per week. Rouse Hill Public School is one of four bilingual government schools in NSW. Every two years, approximately 40 students and many staff members visit our sister schools in China. Every alternate year our sister schools in China visit Rouse Hill Public School.
We are proud of our achievements in all areas of the curriculum. Rouse Hill Public School is a positive behaviour for learning school (PBL) where every child learns to be responsible, respectful and resilient. Rouse Hill Public School offers many extra-curricular activities such as: public school sport association, public speaking, debating, dance, drama, choir, chess, band, violin, guitar and a very active student representative council (SRC).
The local learning community comprises of Rouse Hill High School, Ironbark Ridge Public School, Beaumont Hills Public School, Kellyville Public School, Sherwood Ridge Public School, North Kellyville and Rouse Hill Public School. All schools work together to provide quality learning opportunities for our students. Our overarching goal is that Rouse Hill Public School remains the school of choice for local residents. As our motto states, 'In all we do, we do our best'.
