About our school

Welcome to Rouse Hill Public School. Our wonderful school was established in 1875 and moved to our current site in 2003. Rouse Hill Public School is located in the vibrant North West Sydney area. We currently have 36 mainstream classes and 4 support classes that are integral to our school.

We are proud of our achievements in all areas of the curriculum. Rouse Hill Public School is a positive behaviour for learning school (PBL) where every child learns to be responsible, respectful and resilient. We offer a number of extracurricular activities which may include inter school sport (PSSA), public speaking, debating, dance, drama, choir, chess, band, violin, guitar and a very active student representative council (SRC).

Rouse Hill Public School is one of four bilingual government schools in NSW. Every mainstream class undertakes one hour per week of Mandarin language instruction and one hour of instruction in the key learning area of creative arts is conducted in Mandarin and English.

Rouse Hill Public School is a thriving learning community and, as our motto states, 'In all we do, we do our best'.
